About Torvac Solutions

Founded in 2006, Torvac has maintained steady growth year in year out across its three divisions: Sales — as a licensed distributor of Fire Protection Systems, Engineering and Installation and Maintenance and Service.

Torvac Solutions’ reputation for quality and high standards has led to regular engagement on high-profile projects across Sydney such as; Sutherland Hospital, St George Hospital, ANSTO Nuclear Reactor at Lucas Heights, Optus Data Centres, RSPCA, Olympic Stadium and The Australian Museum. Client satisfaction resulted in Torvac Solutions being awarded the ongoing maintenance work for the Fire and Life Safety equipment at many of these projects.

Within the maintenance division, our Essential Services team covers all Inspect, Test and Maintain functions for Local Council Annual Fire Safety Compliance, in addition to the supply and installation of new fire protection equipment. Torvac Solution conduct all work practices in accordance to Australian Standards.

Training, Licensing and Accreditation

Torvac Solutions pride itself on employing Industry-leading, trained personnel capable of delivering Turnkey projects or 3rd party sub-contract services for any Special Hazards protection requirement.

The company places a high value on its’ staff holding fire protection industry technical qualifications and manufacturers product training, as well as undertaking continuous professional development training.

Torvac Solutions specialist team members have full Extinguishing Agent handling Licence (EAHL) qualifications, as mandated under the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act 1989, in all 6 licences categories from Portables and Installed Systems through to Warehousing. This is also supported by their holding FPAS Inspect and Test category 5 at the Complex level. Torvac Solutions also extends its full service capability by having in-house Room Integrity test capability.

As a business, Torvac Solutions holds extinguishing agent trading authorisation (EATA) and maintains stock of all industry common scheduled agents for those critical asset protection installations and aviation requirements.

Torvac Solutions has always been at the forefront of installation and maintenance of technological innovation in Special Hazards. Their portfolio of Gaseous Agent projects covers Nationally Significant archival protection, Museums, Nuclear Medicine production and research, data centers and telecommunication. They are also active in both Engineered and Pre-Engineered Kitchen and Vehicle Suppression systems.

With the adoption of Carbon Neutral and Green & Blue Hydrogen energy generation, will come emerging technology and new storage solutions. These will all need Special Hazard protection, which Torvac Solutions can support by its strong links to a suite of manufacturers.

Through strategic alliances, Torvac Solutions can provide NSW Annual Fire Safety Assessment, Fire Systems Design and Certification sign off as required under section 59 of the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018

Licensing and Accreditation

To ensure our customers receive the best standards of service, our service, and installation technicians have National Qualified competencies, Federal and State regulatory Licences. As a company, we have an EAHL Trading Permit and EAHL Licensed technicians. Our internal and external Emergency Training is provided by a WHS specialist and Cert IV Trainer. Torvac Solutions is NSW Government accredited and WHS Compliant with an audited WHS Code of Practice and Procedures and in addition holding Insurances covering Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Worker’s Compensation as well as Business Operations cover.

Furthermore, Torvac Solutions hold Federal Government issued Extinguishing Agent Handling Licences (EAHL) for the service technicians, in addition to the appropriate Trading Permits for the purchase, transport, and sale to the end user of these regulated gases. Through our in-house auditing services, Torvac Solutions assist clients in monitoring and managing their holdings of these gaseous agents.
