ANSUL A-101/LVS Fire suppression systems can be used for heavy earth-moving and mining equipment such as large excavators/shovels, drag lines, haul trucks, and other machines that work around the clock, in rugged, hazardous environments and can become superheated. The system can also protect underground mining equipment and speciality vehicles such as slag pot and/or slab carriers and tunnel boring machines.

The combined performance of the ANSUL A-101/LVS Twin-Agent Fire Suppression System provides the ultimate protection. While FORAY dry chemical knocks down flames, the LVS agent cools surrounding areas and hard to reach areas, minimising the possibility of reflash.
ANSUL A-101/LVS Twin Agent Agents
FORAY
A multi-purpose dry chemical agent is used to combat fires in combustible materials including wood, paper and plastics (Class A). Also, other fires include flammable liquids, gases and greases (Class B), and fires involving energized electrical equipment (Class C).
ANSUL A-101/LVS
A wet chemical agent that is a blend of organic and inorganic salts, coupled with surface-active ingredients. As a result, the blend provides a strong measure of freeze protection along with the foaming properties associated with conventional Class B liquid agents. The agent flows into areas where flammable liquids settle, furthermore providing both suppression and cooling of superheated surfaces. Most noteworthy is that the agent, to blanketing the fuel, cuts off oxygen to help prevent any reflash.
The ANSUL A-101/LVS Twin Agent combination has been proven effective in applications where superheated equipment, like a turbocharger, is used. The ANSUL A-101/LVS is also FM approved.
